So after I talked to the last debt settlement company, I found this on the yellow pages. Talked to the rep a couple of minutes and she gave me a run down on what she’d be able to do. Matched me with 4 debt consultants and they each told me what they could do with the amex debt. Best offer was approximately paying off only less than 10% of the balance. I went for it.
